Just now in shcj forum, I saw a member asked "is ERIC good enough to be a leader for shinhwa??" Cuz she saw someone wrote that hyesung or minwoo will make a better leader and eric did not talk in concerts but minwoo and hyesung did.. he just stand like the other member..also, he did not do anything for shinhwa..

OK, here's my answer!! -__-

First, ask what makes a good leader? because u like him more? because he can talk better? because he can dance better? because he sings better?

To me, none of the above. I think Eric makes a great leader! he has leadership quality and he is calm and good at decision making. You dun require a leader to show u he is a good leader but look at what he have done behind the camera. Shinhwa is consider a big group, 6 people who have different talents, they can dance, sing, host, rap etc. But to be a leader, you need to let ur members fully in charge of what he is good at. Not just because you're the leader, u take full charge of everything. A leader must let the member feel useful and important. Yes eric seldom speak out but that doesn't mean he is not thinking. He is always thinking ahead of the members and take measures to deal with problems. When shinhwa goes solo, despite how busy, he'd sms them with warm messages like "minwoo, u know I love you right?" or he'd sometimes need assurance, "minwoo, u love me right?" that's how he communicate with his members. When interviewed, he doesn't stand out to speak, cuz he trust his members can do equally well. In fact, when it comes to big decision, he was the one who direct them. And this is what makes shinhwa so successful. I heard that he was the one who decided to leave SM and he handled all the details that follows. If he wasn't a good leader, will the rest still willing to follow him? haha, so I hope u can tell that person who wrote abt hyesung or minwoo should be the leader, he or she is so superficial~
